A note about the gnome, trolls, critter sculptures pictured here


The sculptures pictured here are entirely original, one-of-a-kind sculptures. These are all paper mache with the exception of glass eyes, hair, and an occasional feather in the paper-made hat. Many sculptures have a staff or walking stick. Under the paper exterior is a real "stick"- it is covered and textured with paper then painted. No frames of wire, wood or any other material have been used for these sculpture. Only paper.

The "Falling-Down Barn"

This barn is on the road up to the house. When we first arrived here in Sept., 2007, we noticed the barn leaning precariously and wondered how long it had been that way. A few months later, we noticed that it was leaning a little more, and one day in August, 2008 we drove past and noticed that it had collapsed completely. Here are three pictures that chart it's devolution:
